The machines and plants supplied by Mariani can be completed with conveyoring lines with straight or curved paths to handle individual packages, sleeves, bundles, cases, trays, crates and containers. The conveyors are designed and conveniently dimensioned to reduce the maintenance costs, offer the utmost security to the operators and convey the products safely.
The range of conveyors, depending on type and weight of the products as well as on the operating speed, can be divided in:
- chain conveyors
- belt conveyors
- slat band conveyors
- roller conveyors
The conveyors, composed of drives, exchange units and idlers, can be equipped with auxiliary elements such as inclined sections, curves with driven or idle rollers, mesh with lateral guides and many other fittings according to the specific requirements.
The conveyoring and feeding lines can be equipped with shunting / distribution devices, brakes, reversible running facility. The conveyor sections are operated by specific dedicated motors and controlled by inverters.
These additional devices allow speed adjustment according to the flow and type of products to be conveyed; in addition, the conveyors can be stopped in case of lack of products and then automatically restart when the products arrive.
The conveyoring systems are conveniently dimensioned on the layouts designed by our experts who study also specific software solutions integrated in the control unit of the whole plant and composed of electric boards and panels including the management of the different packaging machines.
The sturdy structure of the conveyors is made of high resistant materials suitable for any type of application and made of stainless steel and plastic materials which guarantee the plants a high resistance to hurts and environmental agents (chemicals, UV-rays, high and low temperature, moisture, etc.) and enable their application within the foodstuff and beverage industry.
Mariani solutions for the conveyors, complying with CE rules, can offer functional advantages including reduced consumption of energy, self lubrication, flexibility and fast format change, gentle treatment of the products to be handled.
Special attention has to be paid to the buffer system especially for the plastic bottles, for which Mariani has developed an advanced technology that can be seen in the accumulation table type AT 48.
